Wendy Mitchell

Research Manager

Wendy has over 30 years’ experience in market and social research.

Since 2019 Wendy has been a Senior Research Associate in the Survey Coordination Centre, where she is project lead on the national NHS Staff Survey with overall responsibility for survey development, analysis and reporting. She has also been involved in the NHS Patient Survey Programme and conducted research into the experiences of senior clinical researchers.

Before joining Picker, Wendy was co-director and Head of Quantitative Research at Alpha Research Ltd, where she specialised in the design and delivery of research studies for a range of healthcare and other public sector organisations, with a strong focus on providing a voice for healthcare professionals. Her broad research experience spans consumer and social research, quantitative and qualitative research methods and online and traditional modes of data collection.

Wendy has a BA in Linguistics and Phonetics from the University of Leeds and studied Computer Speech and Language Processing (MPhil) at the University of Cambridge.
