Team: Survey Coordination Centre, Service Delivery

Location: Oxford/Hybrid

The Research Associate will work on the development and coordination of new and existing surveys as part of our Survey Coordination Centre in the Service Delivery Team. The post holder also disseminates results to various audiences, including clients, stakeholders, collaborators, and members of the public.

Senior Research Associate

Team: Data Science Team

Location: Oxford/hybrid

The successful candidate will lead on the development of Picker’s web-based reporting dashboards work. The charity has recently started expanding into Business Intelligence (BI) via web applications and is looking to add a new member to the Data Science team. The role will involve hands-on design, development and maintenance of applications with a Python backend, capable of doing live reporting using database/big data tools via dynamic visualisation assets.

Reporting to: Team Leader for National Programmes

Team: Service Delivery

Location: Oxford/Hybrid (1 day a fortnight up to full time at peak project points)

The successful candidate will be required to deliver programme requirements including design and development to ensure that they meet and deliver the needs of the client, stakeholders and beneficiaries, and will need to support the Team Leader for National Programmes in the development and improvement of the standard processes for these programmes.

This role will lead on the development and implementation of the charity’s large scale multi-stakeholder programmes of work. Currently this work profile includes programmes such as the Adult Cancer Patient Experience Survey and the Under 16 Cancer Patient Experience Survey (delivered on behalf of NHS England), the NHS Staff Survey as an approved contractor, the CQC patient survey programme as an approved contractor and Picker’s large scale offers relating to wider national/international work programmes.
