Nene Ibokessien

Senior Research Associate

Nene is a Senior Research Associate in the Survey Coordination Centre. She joined Picker in June 2022 to support and deliver research projects including national NHS Patient and Staff surveys. She has experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods with a knowledge of in-depth interviews, focus groups, facilitation, stakeholder consultations, online surveys, and panel studies.

Prior to joining Picker, Nene worked as a Researcher at the Centre for People, Work and Organisational Practice, Nottingham Trent University. In this role, she worked on various projects which focused on the impact of COVID-19 on the charity and voluntary sector. She has also evaluated programmes designed to support the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Midlands.

Nene holds a PhD in Human Resources Management from the University of Westminster and an MSc in International Business from the University of Hertfordshire. She is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
