Magdalena is the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Lead for NIHR Applied Research Collaboration West Midlands (ARC WM) at the University of Birmingham, which brings together academics, service users, patients and public to improve health outcomes.
Leading on the operations of PPIE, Magdalena ensures that patient experiences and understanding of healthcare help ensure researchers ask the right questions, that research design and delivery is effective, and that research findings are communicated to the right audiences in appropriate formats.
