This survey and your personal data: Digital Health Survey 2025
Background
Picker is looking for volunteers to register interest in taking part in a Digital Health Survey 2025, that will be completed during a call with a member of the research team. This will help us understand what matters most to people when accessing and using digital health services.
Our main aims are to:
- Define what matters most to people receiving digital health, based on evidence and real-world experience.
- Provide a user centred foundation for the design, delivery, and evaluation of digital health and care services.
- Support providers, commissioners, and developers to ensure digital health delivery and tools are person centred.
- Advocate for the consistent application of person centred values in digital transformation across health and care systems.
We would like to recruit a small, diverse group of 5 patients, carers and service users who have had experience with using a digital health and care service in the last 12 months, to ensure the research reflects feedback from a broad perspective.
The criteria is :
- Aged 18 or over.
- Living in the UK, who have experience of using digital health services in the last 12 months.
What will I be asked to do?
- If you would like to take part, please register your interest using the link below.
- If you are selected to take part, we will contact you via email to arrange a time to schedule a Microsoft teams call / interview. You will be asked to complete the survey while on the call to a member of the research team to enable us to further discuss your responses as you provide feedback on a set of statements and images about digital health technologies.
- The call to complete the survey will take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete.
- To thank you for your time and contribution to the research, you will be offered a £50 Love2Shop or Amazon voucher, following the call / interview.
Do I have to take part?
- No – taking part is entirely voluntary and choosing not to take part will have no effect on the care you receive or services you use now or in the future.
- You can choose to withdraw your participation at any time, without needing to provide a reason. You have the right to withdraw your consent to Picker’s processing of your personal data at any time, although once data is analysed it is not possible to withdraw your data from the outputs.

Would my participation in this study be kept confidential?
- Yes – your survey responses and what you say during the call will be kept entirely confidential.
- We ask for consent to record the call / interview to support us with analysis and notetaking. Given the nature of the recording functionality on Microsoft Teams, if you do not consent to be video recorded, but are happy to have the audio recorded, we will ask that you switch your camera off for the interview.
- You will be asked to sign and complete a consent form that will be used only by researchers to confirm and record that you have agreed to take part in the survey and call / interview.
- Your contact details will be kept separate from any answers and no identifiable data will be shared outside of Picker. It will not be possible to identify you in any published results.
