As the leading global coalition of lymphoma patient organisations, Lymphoma Coalition is committed to influencing and improving care for those affected by lymphoma, including CLL. The GPS on Lymphomas and CLL accurately represents the current voices and values of patients and their caregivers. A major driver behind why the organisation has conducted this biennial survey since 2008 is to ensure meaningful insights into the experiences of patients and caregivers are gathered and ultimately shared to inform future policies, treatments and overall care worldwide.
In 2022, the survey achieved 8,637 patient and caregiver responses from 72 countries. Building on this success, the 2024 survey will be distributed online in English and 19 other languages to gather insights from a diverse global population.
The survey will be open for people to complete on Friday February 2nd, remaining open for approximately two months. The survey’s primary focus is to understand lymphoma and CLL patients and carers experience and evaluate the impact of treatment and care. The results will play a crucial role in ensuring that discussions with healthcare professionals, researchers, and industry are guided and influenced by lived experiences. Picker, with its extensive experience of conducting global patient surveys, is well-positioned to lead this initiative. Their expertise ensures that the survey is designed to accurately collect valuable insights that will contribute to the improvement and advancement of lymphoma care worldwide.
Picker is delighted to collaborate with the Lymphoma Coalition in amplifying the voices of lymphoma patients and their caregivers worldwide. We join Lymphoma Coalition in their commitment to understanding their experiences and translating these insights into actionable improvements in lymphoma care globally.
Lymphoma Coalition is committed to a better future for everyone impacted by lymphoma. To achieve this, it is imperative to listen to patients and their caregivers to inform how we advocate on their behalf with healthcare professionals, researchers, government bodies, and industry stakeholders. The Global Patient Survey serves as a vital tool in this mission. In partnering with Picker for the 2024 iteration, we continue to ensure that the voices of those affected by lymphoma are central to the work that is done to better shape the future of lymphoma care.
