Amy Tallett

Head of Research

Amy is Head of Research at Picker, where she is accountable for the design, management, delivery and financial performance of a range of research projects, to facilitate the delivery of high-quality health and social care.

Prior to becoming Head of Research in 2017, Amy worked was Associate Director, and prior to that a Senior Researcher at Picker. During her time at Picker since joining in 2009, Amy has gained a wealth of experience in large- and small-scale patient feedback survey design and implementation, and qualitative research techniques. She has developed service user experience tools across a range of areas including children’s cancer care, pancreatic cancer, sickle cell disease, NHS 111, neonatal care and health visiting. She also provides expert consultancy in service user experiences of health and social care and in person-centred care.

Amy holds a PhD in Psychopharmacology and a 1st Class BSc Psychology degree from the University of Leeds.
